    • We have established a highly secure and separate custody system to guard our clients’ assets, both fiat and virtual assets. The custody system is separated from the trading system. We have developed a set of secured and reliable wallet management procedures to ensure the safety of client and Company assets.
    • Virtual Asset Custody
      The cold wallets will be physically located in Hong Kong and managed by the Hong Kong wallet management team. The hot wallets will be operated on a cloud service provider and operated by our IT security team. All private keys of the wallets are generated offline under supervision of our Responsible Officers and kept in a bank-grade Hardware Storage Module (HSM), provided by Securosys SA. Key access is strictly controlled by our policies and procedures with proper segregation of duties and permissions under monitoring of our Responsible Officers.
    • System Reliability
      To ensure system reliability, we will have Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) to guide our internal teams to perform system upgrades and planned or unplanned system maintenance. The SOP guarantees a high level of fault tolerance and 24/7 uptime in different stages such as Detection by machine heart beats, process heart beats and host-based intrusion monitoring, recovery by reconnections, recovery messages and processing and Fault Mitigation by redundancies and location transparency.
    System Security
    To ensure system security, we will implement security controls to protect the platform from being abused in the aspects of authentication, authorisation and application security:
    a
    System authentication is strictly controlling login context, repaid login/logout, multi factor authentication, internal password for whitelisted IP/gateway addresses and one-time password under authentication policies and procedures.
    b
    System authorisation is strictly controlling roles with different login privileges (interface, GUI), general privileges (mass cancel, session management, announcements and gateway controller), instrument group privileges (order submission, quotes and market data management) and reference data privileges (credit, view, edit, delete and approve) under authorisation policies and procedures at firm and user level.
    c
    All applications are protected with passwords stored using salted MD5 and sensitive data is protected with AES 128-bit encryption and transmitted through TLS v1.2 RSA 2048 communication.
    d
    Audit trail is implemented to track system timestamps, authentication success or failures, application startup, restart and errors, process configuration updates and market operation actions.
